What this website is, what it is not, and what you agree to when you contact us or give us your phone number.
Effective October 6, 2026
H2 Planning & Solutions Inc. (“H2 Planning”, “we”, “us”) is a Canadian financial-planning firm. These terms govern your use of this website, the application and booking pages connected to it, and the emails, text messages and calls that follow from them.
By using this site or giving us your contact details, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
These terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and why.
Everything on this site is general information for incorporated Canadian business owners. It is not financial, tax, accounting, insurance or legal advice, and it does not take your particular circumstances into account.
Nothing here creates an advisory, client or fiduciary relationship. That relationship begins only when we have met, agreed in writing what we are doing for you, and completed the paperwork our regulators require.
Tax and insurance rules change, and they apply differently to different people. Before acting on anything you read here, speak to us or to your own accountant, lawyer or advisor.
This site is intended for residents of Canada who are at or over the age of majority in their province. It is not directed to anyone under that age, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Our services are offered only where we are licensed to offer them. Submitting an application does not oblige us to work with you, and it does not oblige you to work with us.
Please use this site only for its intended purpose. Do not submit information that is false or that belongs to someone else, do not submit another person’s phone number, and do not attempt to disrupt, scrape or gain unauthorised access to the site or the systems behind it.
We may decline or withdraw access, or remove a submission, where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken.
What you are agreeing to. When you give us your mobile number on an application or booking form, you agree that H2 Planning may contact you by text message (SMS), by phone and by email about your enquiry and your appointment. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or of working with us.
What we send. Appointment confirmations and reminders, and replies to messages you send us. Message frequency varies with your own activity — in practice, a small number of messages around each appointment. We do not send recurring marketing campaigns by text.
Opting out. Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details in section 15. You can withdraw consent at any time, and doing so will not affect any advice or service you have already received.
Costs. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. We do not charge you for the messages we send.
Your number stays with us. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing. We share it only with the service providers who deliver our messaging and scheduling on our behalf, under contract, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Delivery. Messages depend on your mobile carrier, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If an appointment matters, treat the confirmation email as the record.
Email. Occasional emails about our services are sent only with your consent, as Canada’s anti-spam law (CASL) requires. Every one carries an unsubscribe link and our mailing address.
Completing an application or booking a call tells us about your situation and reserves time in our calendar. It does not create an agreement for us to provide services, and it does not commit you to anything.
We may contact you before a scheduled call to confirm that what we do is relevant to your situation. If it is not, we will say so.
Please give us accurate information. The usefulness of a first conversation depends on it.
Any case studies, examples or figures on this site describe past client situations in general terms, with identifying details removed. They are illustrations, not averages, and not a promise.
Outcomes depend on individual circumstances, on tax and insurance legislation as it stands at the time, and on decisions made by you and your other advisors. Past results do not guarantee future results.
The text, design, graphics, video and other material on this site belong to H2 Planning or to the people who licensed it to us, and are protected by copyright and trade-mark law. You may read it, print it and share a link to it for your own non-commercial use. You may not republish, sell or adapt it without our written permission.
Professional designations shown on this site — including CFP®, CLU®, TEP, CPA and CGA — belong to the bodies that award them and are used by the individuals entitled to use them.
This site links to and relies on services run by other companies, including our scheduling, messaging and website platforms. We choose them carefully but we do not control them, and their terms and privacy policies govern what they do.
A link from this site is not an endorsement of everything on the linked site.
We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the general information on it is complete or current for your situation.
To the extent the law allows, H2 Planning is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, or from acting on general information found here without advice that considers your own circumstances.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing in them affects the obligations we owe you as your advisor once an advisory relationship exists.
How we collect, use, keep and share your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. We follow PIPEDA and, where it applies, British Columbia’s PIPA.
We may update these terms as our services or the law change. The effective date at the top of this page tells you when the current version took effect. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
